Thanx for the tip. It is set at medium per default and I see people getting alerts in town at that setting. I don't want any more distractions in town. My wife is challenging enough!:sneaky:
Because I have mine set to the most sensitive setting. I can usually anticipate when it's going to go off but it's still startles my passenger/wife.

Needs to be permanently turned off.
Nanny aids.
I’ll be in a wide multi lane curve and it thinks I’m gonna hit the car in front because I’m so close.
Not yet advanced enough to know that car is in another lane.
Although one nanny aid that is useful for me is maps/nav:)

You’re old enough to remember the Thomas Guide Maps that salesmen & savvy civilians would use to navigate? Kept one in the glovebox in case my hand written map got me lost. I used to be called “Mr U-Turn” regardless.

How we ever got to the Moon before GPS and using slide rules is incredibly impressive:)

The Moon shots,
I always figured they used a competition clay pigeon shooter to teach NASA how to lead the Moon and fire the Saturn Five. :’P

Those astronauts had brass balls !

Scares the crap out of me. I look around the dash to see what's going on. It hasn't gone off in 4-5 weeks which makes me happy. Much easier to take than land mines and sniper near-misses.

WOW, this turned into quite a conversation. Is there any way you can change the chime tone on the warnings? For some reason it seems to be the same indication that I get from Waze which isn't ideal. I'll probably have to change the ways, not Ford.
