Powerbass OE Series OE65C-FD SSL-LoPro8 Speaker Upgrade !!

This is a really nice upgrade on the cheap. I paid $120 for the OE65C-FD 6.5 door speakers. What a great improvement. I chose not to install the tweeters that came with it for now. This upgrade will do wonders for most. I also put the $70 SSL LoPro8 600w sub from ebay under the rear seat for a little more Kick. I bought a sub wiring kit for $20. The total build cost is $210. I still can't believe how small the 6.5 factory magnets are. I messed with the factory EQ and it hits pretty hard. See Stock411 link below a very nice review.

Looks good, do the tweeters you’ll thank me later.
It added highs that was previously muddy with the stock tweeter. I made a post previously about that kit. I’d say it’s a 2/5 difficulty. It’s worth it though.

I got almost the same ones, except my model the tweeters are built into speakers so didn’t have to mess with them..

I did a search and missed your very nice review from may. I've had them sitting in the garage for about a year, waiting on my maverick. I will take your advice when it warms up and put those tweeters in. I believe this sounds just as good as the BO.
