So I have found a local company that can add the heated pads for both the passenger & drivers seats. I am trying to find out if there is already a power circuit available under the seats. My Maverick did not come with power seats or heaters. So I can assume that the power wires from Fuse 39 may not be present. If that is the case then I may want to add the wiring before I get the heaters added. Any thoughts on where to tap off the power?

look into swapping to escape climate controls make sure you get the correct one as hybrids and eco boosts are different and single and dual climate control are different too. this will give you the necessary "heated seat" buttons you can then wire to the pads. Might need to do some forscan coding to get the buttons to operate!

Thanks for the info. That is most likely more involved that I want to go into at this point.

it seems to me that if you're having this installed they would take care of powering them?

if you were doing this yourself I could understand this question and I would first start by looking at the kit to see what fuse rating it needs.

Another post mentioned power is at the driver seat.
I don't have a power seat, but I can maybe see in my poor photo a Brown/Red wire under mine that I need to check if it's on C305 Pin 1 and if it has 12V.

Checked C305 BN-RD to BK-GY, seems to have hot all time +12.
It a bit hard for me to put temporary pins in and get a reading with a DMM.
Male Connector isn't wired at Pins 1, 8 b/c I don't have power driver seat.

Thanks for the pictures under the seat. The reason I would prefer to have power available under the seats is that way I don't leave it up to the heat pads installer to just splice into any random wires and I want to also have the power on only when the truck is running.

Considering the fuse required I very much doubt they would just do it randomly. 😆
