This pic reminds me of a bucket list item.
I want a fast car with a front splitter big enough to eat children or small cows on the road, for breakfast on its time attack uphill drive.

Also never figured out why its called a splitter, I think it should be called a "giant front bumper air-scoop"

First, Thank you for your service.

I actually know about that tunnel. My friend took a tourist train out of Moab last year. It would be a dream to ride in engine like that!!! I Love trains. My dad used to take me, then my children, on old steam trains for fun.
I live in New Hampshire, but drive all over the country. Love going out west. I drive a semi so I understand the whole engine break thing on the mountains. We see drivers with smoking breaks or even on fire at the bottom, while we hardly touched the breaks. All about training.

I never got tired of the scenery, it was a great job except for the real crap hours. On call 24/7, 365 days a year. Home between trips 10-16 hours maybe, then back out. A nice steam engine ride is in Durango & Silverton Railroad. The drive down from Grand Junction is very nice also, going over three passes in a row, Molas, Coal Bank and Red Mountain. Very scenic, we would take family and friends down there when they were on vacation. Did see many smoking breaks and fires on many of the passes over the years. Those guys would get going a tad too fast and then heat em' up! Slow and easy was the ticket on those passes and you were one of the smart ones!

The 05 Zed is a fun ride, I bought it from an Allstate Insurance junkyard in L.A. about 5 years ago. The wife of a Sailor, stationed in Germany, had run it into a toll booth. I repaired the damage to the side of the car. It was a silver anniversary edition, 280hp V6. I had it painted red by a friend and replaced the top, it's a 6 speed.

Hahaha...I worked on M, the XK is presumed. They didn't put a V10 in anything else.

Funny! I follow the Durango Silverton on Facebook. It's one of my many "one of these days" rides. I have driven the highways through the passes, but a train is a whole different thing!
I thought our schedule driving a semi was bad. We are lucky to get 24 hours notice of a trip. Busy season we can be out weeks at a time with out a full day off. (AG exemption because we transport horses)
Not an easy life, but we love what we do.

Well time to update this thread with another one for me. Have not picked it up yet. But picking up soon and taking it to Livernois for the works. E85 and 600whp should be great for my wife’s daily.
