Post Recall Updates!

Is there anyone out in Maverick land (specifically Hybrid)that has had both the 23P18 and 23C41 recalls done and have NOT had any issues like hyperflash, engine running badly etc.? I’m specifically looking at the hybrid. Let me know please. I have a scheduled appointment to have this done and want to know what I’m in for.

I had only the 23C41 recall done and no issues on 24 XLT.
However prior to any recall, my Mav engine died at 75mph. Pulled to the side of the freeway, turned off key then back on and no issues since.

No issues here, so far. I had the recalls done first week of March, '24.

10K on the truck.

I did have grabby brakes once, post-updates. But it was a very damp day and on first application of brakes after driving off and at a stop sign. Probably just damp pads/rotors.

I had both recalls done. Only issue was they turned off TSR which I easily fixed. TSR is not part of a Maverick’s normal programming.

I have a 2023 Hyrbid XLT Lux and have had both recalls done and have had no issues. 8000k miles

recalls generally mean it is broke and needs fixing...... just saying.....

I'd disagree. Recall is for potential manufacturer defect. They found X number of vehicle to have Y defect. Then recall is issued. Not every vehicle covered in a recall may actually have the defect.

Given all the current reported problems by hybrid owners after certain recalls have been performed, I'm choosing a wait and see approach. If I am not having any issues, then no need to run out and have the recall done until assurances made it will be problem free. I'm not into beta testing.

I've had the 23C41 Tailight and 24C01 Cluster realls done. My VIN# didn't require the 23P18 PCM recall which seems to be the one causing the system shut down.
