Was looking at another WOLFBOX one on there.

Are there any Dash Cams for Prime Day that people have bought and recommended? Not looking to spend a ton. Saw some in the $50 range and wondered if it was worth it to bite.

since i was driving though the forest yesterday and there was no cell service so GPS on my phone wouldnt work.

Just as an FYI, Google Maps lets you draw an area on the map and download all the navigation and street data for use "offline". Your rectangle of downloaded data can be as small or as large as you want. And it will then set up an automatic update of any changes for you on some sort of interval. I think every 30 days it refreshes. I use it for camping trips where I know I will be in the middle of the woods. Also have one tall/narrow rectangle that encompases the entire north to south I-5 and I-405 corridor thru Washington State since you never know when the cell towers will go down, even in heavily populated areas. When your phone gets into an area that doesn't have a signal, the navigation flawlessly switches over to the stored data. The only time I even notice is when it sometimes pops a little notice on my screen that says "using offline data" or something like that. Only other drawback is you dont have live traffic and accident and speed trap data. But that is fine.

yeah, well i wasnt expecting to be out of signal. the Ocala National Forest isnt true wilderness, roadsand even some Houses gas station and such are within it, i never went without GPS in there before so wasnt expecting it this time. i went to Salt Springs Fl, which is out of the forest and a tourist spot. so figured i would have signal... but once i got within 10 miles of the area i lolst signal. and then when i was leaving i didnt have signal for 20 miles, not sure if T-Mobile was doing work on the tower for that area or not, i ended up missing my turn i should of made and jujst kept going straight until i got signal and then used my phone to find an alternate way

I chose that one because I like the idea of replay screen and the camera isn't attached to the mirror unit. You can get that one and the hardwire kit for cheaper than the normal price.
