Personal preferences, I think a clean white car is sharp and nicer looking than most of the offered colors. I've had a lot of white cars. I also like deep burgundy and dark midnight blue. White is cooler here in Midwest where summer Temps range from 95° to 105°.So sorry you were forced to get a white fleet looking vehicle. Otherwise great.
And how come fleet vehicle are always white?
If I lived there gas prices would be the least of my worries!"Happily pay for the gas" - You might feel differently if you lived in the land of $5.00+ per gallon for 87 octane. I have a 22 EB and a 24 hybird [both Oxford white]. 80 miles total on the 24 hybrid and I am seeing 40 mpg. I can get used to that real quick.
RE: Color choice - I once read an article published by Mercedes regarding color perceptiblity and safety in low light and fog. The most perceptible color was yellow followed by white, then red. The least perceptible colors are easy to guess - silver, gray, graphite gray, metallic light blue, beige and so on. Next time you are on the freeway in haze and fog, look around and do your own evaluation as to which colors stand out the most against the gray of the pavement and sky.
I have it scheduled to be ceramic coated next week. Should make keeping it clean easier and the treat it before hand with something to deal with the iron contamination first.I like white, too. White surprisingly hides alot of of dirt. You don't realize how dirty it is until you get a clean spot on it.
I did have a weird thing happen two vehicles ago. My truck was white and it started getting tiny rust colored spots in the paint. Read it was called iron contamination, and affects more than just white vehicles. just more noticeable on white vehicles when they're clean.
Nice looking truck, Dave49!

Is this a hybrid, xlt, lariat? Which model and engine did you get?Faster than expected. I placed a new 2024 order on July 18th. Received notice it would be built in late December. Then received an update it would be built the 1st week of November. I actually took delivery yesterday.

Congrats!
What are your thoughts on comparison to the Sport Trac? I owned one of those for a number of years. Picture next to the Sport Trac would be cool to see.
Doesn't look like a fleet vehicle at all. Looks sharp with the blacked out accents contrasting with the white. So sorry you were forced to get a white fleet looking vehicle. Otherwise great.

To each their own, but what specifically about hybrids/EVs turns you away from them? The EB is definitely more smiles-per-gallon, but it's just average for reliability.Yes it was an ecoboost. I'm not a fan of hybrids or EV's. I'll happily pay for the gas.
I wonder how many would go to Texas or Mexico if they could for pickup.Damn, only thing that sucks about being in MD, haha. Mine shipped on 11/08 and my estimate for delivery is 12/04 - 12/08
Congrats!!! Looks nice.
