That looks like the access cover for the hybrid battery disconnect (or a similar floor-mounted electrical access panel).
Since you have a Maverick Lariat, it’s very likely you have the Hybrid powertrain. On these trucks, the high-voltage battery is located under the cabin, and there is an access point beneath the front passenger seat (or slightly behind it) for service technicians to manually disconnect the power.

Slide your front passenger seat all the way forward.
Look at the carpet/floor area directly under where the seat usually sits.
You should see a rectangular cutout or a recessed area in the carpet with two slots that match those plastic "hooks" on the back of the plate.
It should simply snap back into place with a firm press.

If your truck is a non-hybrid (EcoBoost), this could be a generic floor wiring harness cover, but the location remains the same—check the floorboards under the front seats!

Thanks for the replies. Carpeting has no cutouts but I do feel where there may be a gap. Not going to tare up carpet to replace. I'm guessing the dealer did not replace as 120V outlets (under warranty) quit working and they had trouble finding where the problem was.

I would return to the dealer and ask them why they left parts off and to please replace them where they go. INSIST the technician takes a photo of the area missing the part and then with the part installed after corrective action. Otherwise they will pull it in the bay and throw the part in the trash. Unacceptable for your truck to be disassembled and not re-assembled correctly.

Either the inverter, or the computer that controls it. They said it was almost $2000 in parts. They had it for a couple weeks.
