Placed my order for a hybrid last night!

Turns out it was the very last day one could be ordered. I’ve been back and forth about ordering one since they’ve been announced. But seeing fuel prices just keep climbing pushed me over the ledge.

Now we wait. No email confirmation from Ford though which is lame.
Emailed the dealer about that to see what they say.

communication from them is slow and not great.

what am I looking at for wait any guesses from you guys in the know?

If you don't get your confirmation email by tonight, I'd stop in to visit the dealer tomorrow since 10PM EST is the dealer cut off to get the order in.

You better hope that your dealer entered the required information (signed DORA/Order Form and DL) into the ROVP system by 10PM ET yesterday. If they didn't you don't have an order.

Not getting an email from Ford confirming your order is usually a sign that they didn't.

You can also call Ford (800) 334-4375 and ask them to verify your order. You will need the order code from your paperwork (see mine below).

As to guess your date, I'll guess June 2022.

I submitted an order around 10pm Sunday night for an XL Hydrid, knowing that the deadline was last night. I did not receive a response fromm my dealer so at 2 pm I emailed and got a very fast response. The salesman said there was no record of the request and they had not received anything from the Ford website in my name. If I had not emailed, I would not have had an order.
He took my name, said they would wave any deposit and that they would need me to sign a form and provide a copy of my drivers license. Never did get an email from the dealer, never signed a form but I did get an email from Ford that confirmed the order.

I am planning on running by the dealer to confirm everything again today and find out the process for revising the order, since this was more place holder, given the deadline.

Well, I ordered my hybrid mid June before the long line and with no constraints. My build date keeps getting pushed out. If somehow mine gets delivered in mid Jan that is a 7 month wait. That could mean next summer for you to be realistic.

I didn't get my confirmation email for two weeks after my order. So definitely confirm. Ask for your DORA.

Did a build for a hybrid online on 11/12 and submitted it. Got a call from dealer 20 mins later and arranged to come to dealer to finish up on 11/15. Got the same paperwork as OP and left a $1000 deposit. Talked to the sales manager and he was pretty confident of the process and the problems. He said it will probably be in May to summer. Got an email from Ford on the drive home saying my order was received. My priority code is 19. Now I wait...

Just a FYI folks, dealers cannot order the hybrids. They have been cutoff for awhile now. Echo-boost not an issue. YET..................

Yeah I emailed the dealer and they said there was an issue and will let me know today.

It takes a while to get the confirm email from Ford. Out of the dealers hands.
Mine came a week or two after ordering.
