So the story is long but the short version is that I ordered 2 ford Maverick hybrids from 2 different dealerships back in 2022 for a 2023 model. After that both of them got transitioned to a 2024 model. Received the confirmation from ford that they will offer an incentive when they come in to match 2023 model price. Now one came in December 12th 2023, went to one dealership , no issues picked it up and received the transition incentive and purchased it on the spot. Now my second one came in at a different dealership and I called them to have the same discount for the 2nd order and it got denied, claiming that since I already claimed one transition incentive . Now I don’t know if I’m crazy but my understanding was that the incentives was based on vin number not on one per household.
Anyone have any idea how that works?
I called ford marketing about it and they are trying to look into it. Could have been that the dealership messed up when they transitioned my order from 23 to 24? That’s what a lady at ford marketing was suggesting that might have happened.

I always thought it was tied to the original order person (you) of the vehicle. Never heard it being limited to only 1 purchase. I very well could be wrong. Maybe the dealer messed something up in the transition process would be my assumption. Maybe private message Tim (fordvideoguy) or Kevin (KevCuRaoi). Both of them work at dealerships and have always been helpful and informative.

Exactly what HRG said. It should be tied to your Order Code on the COVP that you signed.

I know , I have been on the phone with ford marketing for most of the day today. And the lady from there is saying that she wasn’t able
To see the order before the transition, and that’s why she is saying that probably the dealer messed up. Now I’m not sure if it was intentional or not from them so they can keep the truck.

That what I thought. But the dealer acts like, I can’t claim that certificate for more than 1 truck. Which I don’t believe it’s right, and ford marketing confirmed that you can have multiple trucks and multiple certificates

Being as it's a Hybrid, and the second dealer knows you already have one, they may be hoping you get pissed and drop your order so they can sell it at a markup on the lot.
(Ask me how I know). And keep pushing for the rollover private offer.
