Picked Up my 2025 Today!

Picked up my AWD hybrid Lariat today! A (very) quick list of some likes and dislikes:

LIKES

• Eruption Green looks AMAZING in person, especially in the sun. So glad I picked that color.
• The new interior colors are so much better than the old ones.
• Backup camera is way more clear than previous one. 360 camera is pretty cool as well.
• Everything just feels more…solid. Feels like the build quality is just better.
• The B&O sound system sounds better than the previous one.
• The ride feels higher than before. It feels like you’re sitting higher
• There’s Nav now?! Somehow I missed that was a thing.
• I actually dig the new front end. Looks good.
• Goodyear Wranglers from the factory. That’s def an upgrade.
• But maybe my favorite? It no longer does the stupid double-honk of the horn when you leave it running and take the key with you!

DISLIKES

• Loss of HVAC physical knobs.
• The interior/exterior colors definitely do not jive.

So far, I’m a big BIG fan

Do you regret the EG and Lariat interior color combo? That's what will be here for me in the next 7-10 days.

The amp is different in lariat 25 vs 24

in the blue azure video with the happy salesman, he popped seat down, it’s like white plastic shielded, other older ones are silver amps.

definitely a new amp, so new sound. Maybe the head unit acm is improved now too

For me it doesn't resolve the blue interior issue. I knew they clashed when I ordered it. Still didn't care.

It's like a burgundy interior from the 80s/early 90s. I just have to deal with it!

I ordered the BAP since the blue seemed to clash less with the black but its still there. Arguably not worth the extra $$$ but i couldn't stand the truffle seats.

Gorgeous truck! I am seriously drooling right now. I want that color so bad but I have absolutely no reason to upgrade my 2023 except to get that Eruption Green. Also I know I would hate the loss of physical knobs for the HVAC. My wife has a 2022 Edge that also has no physical controls and it's really frustrating and distracting to use the touchscreen to control everything including heated seats and steering wheel. We hate it.

We hate it.

I totally get it. The loss of the physical knobs is huge. But honestly, I think the rest of the upgrades outweigh the negatives. For now, at least lol.

Oh make no mistake, if I didn't already have a Maverick for whatever reason then I would be purchasing a 2025 and dealing with the lack of physical HVAC controls. These trucks are great and they are perfect for my needs. And there are no other trucks in this class from any other manufacturer. Also, on my wife's Edge the touchscreen can be very laggy, so hopefully Ford has fixed that which should lead to a much better experience than the Edge. Anyway, enjoy that new truck, it is a beauty.

I feel like the touchscreen thing is always gonna be a thing (the lagginess). But who knows…maybe this version will be better
