Perimeter Plus Alarm not working

I've had my 2025 Lariat Hybrid AWD about a month. The window sticker says I have the "Perimeter Alarm". However, I can't get it to work. I've read everything I can find about it, which all says it's activated by the key fob LOCK button. However, I've tried this one click, two clicks and make sure the keyfob is then very far away and not reading, then wait up to 10 minutes to be sure . . but no matter what, I cannot get the alarm to chirp or sound no matter how hard I bang on the truck. Is anyone else having the same issue?

oh wait . . is there a difference between "Perimeter Alarm" and "Perimeter Alarm Plus"? Maybe the "Plus" refers to the shock sensor and the "Perimeter Alarm" without the Plus does not have the shock sensor? . . just a guess that occurred to me.

Could be sensitivity set way too low. The module has a dial to turn on it. Stick your head under your steering wheel column with a flash light.

I looked, but don’t see anything under there. Do I need remove covers on the 2025?

Google is giving mixed answers. Point fob at the locked truck. Hit lock, unlock, lock..... What does it do?

Edit: this appears to be only for 2022 to 2024 Mavericks.

If you take a look at the module, I'd be interested to know the part number. The Ford website is telling me the part # that worked for the 2022 to 2024 Maverick won't work in the 2025.

2025 Maverick labels one Module 15604 in bottom parts pict as Alarm/Keyless Lock System Kit
That doesn't quite sound like Perimeter Alarm, more like the BCM module.

Seems to be quite a difference between Gateway Modules for 2022--2024 Maverick and 2025 Maverick.

Gateway Module - 2022 to 2024 Maverick
NOTE: The GWM communicates with the 5 Controller Area Networks (CANs).
The OBD DLC is fitted to the GWM and is the interface with the diagnostic scan tool.
The GWM is mounted under the driver side instrument panel.
The OBD connector is fitted to the GWM.

NOTE: The GWM communicates with the 7 Controller Area Networks (CANs).
The OBD remote DLC is connected to the GWM and is the interface with the diagnostic scan tool.
For diagnostic scan tool access, a remote DLC is mounted under the driver side instrument panel with a harness connected to the GWM.
