Congratulations on the new truck. I think your wife made out like a bandit. Hope she lets you drive it.

Do not have a Tremor, just a 22 FX4. Had no issues going up and down muddy trail of 13% grade to get to the families hunting cabin in WV.

Curious if anyone has done much off - road / 4 x 4 / traction testing?
I traction test mine every day. It goes just fine as long as 2 wheels are on the ground. Our driveway is a very steep, rutted switchback with a long uneven climb at the end. The only one of our vehicle that scrambles up it with less wheel spin is my 5" lifted Jeep Comanche on 32x11.50 mud terrain tires. Our 96 Bronco on 31s with a limited slip does it about the same. Just a lil bit of spin at the point coming out of the turn where it rock you from one rut to another. Then if you don't lock in the rear diff or the 4x4 the Tremor will make it up but it spins as much tire as our 93 Jeep ZJ does in its 29" budget AT tires. However the longer wheel travel and solid axles of the Jeep make it overall smoother side to side while going up.

When we bought ours we took it to Moab while it was still on the mainland. More than once I stopped it while it was on a 2 wheel balancing act. One time on Gemini Bridges trail it was wheels up and into a climb. Going forward it had to go up so I stopped it there and sure enough it did a slight hesitation and then climbed right up. That was without anything locked. Tried it again with everything locked and the 2+ second hesitation was nearly gone. The hanging wheels probably turned 1/4 rotation before sending power to the ones on the ground.

Such a good confident lil truck. Not to mention even in stock form the thing rips. You can pretty much believe that it is faster than most big lifted trucks unless it's named after a dinosaur or has had engine mods or more than 1 turbo. Handles well in turns, we have a lot of sweepers here to carry good speed through gulches. I once saw 31.8 mpg over a full tank. Unfortunately where we live we spend so much time on winding hilly dirt roads that we are lucky when we average 20mpg. But it doubles what we get in all our other vehicles. Which are much slower.

If you look up some of my threads from last summer I'm pretty sure I put up a bunch of quick offroading videos from the mainland trip.

Be sure to film yours fun when you get the chance!

Mine is also my wife's daily driver. I get to drive it a couple times a week but she is every day. Shes a builder and is always driving to different job sites down roads of questionable quality and parks in yards and such for tools and supplies. I never worry about her getting bogged down in soggied landscape. And with the flex bed and the racks I built for her topper she can haul just about anything she needs other than a full framing out load of lumber. But that's what the trailer is for. This thing tows great off-road too!

Thanks for the feedback.. Run it up the highway 3 hours north... major elevation changes... smooth freeway ride... quiet cabin.. excellent passing/power... .. played with the 4x4 settings while up north.. nothing extreme ..this isbone of the neatest little trucks I've been in..
