Patiently waiting

Hi all,
New to the site and must say first and foremost that I've enjoyed reading everyone's posts and their opinions.
But getting to the point of why I'm writing today.
I ordered my Maverick back in October...the 13th to be exact.
Ordered the XLT. Added FX4 package, Luxury Package as well as the towing package.
Got the trifold tonneau cover, and the sunroof too.
All for the lovely sum of 46000.00
(Rough amount as I don't have the exact figures with me right now.)
We are currently January 6.
No emails from ford...
Anyone else have this issue of extremely long waiting periods with dealers?

Lol... extremely long wait... There's June orders that still have not been scheduled yet.

I understand these forums are mainly a place to air issues and grievances but seeing every post, regardless of the topic, devolve into "I ordered x amount of months ago and still don't have my truck" is getting extremely old and toxic...

There you go, I added to the ranting as well.

But I'm playing the downpayment game. Every week my downpayment gets bigger. Fun game if you ask me!

My purchase agreement was June 24th, confirmed in with Ford Canada on July 4th. My understanding is that in Canada you don't get any communication direct from Ford, and have to check with your dealer as to status. My order was a pretty basic XL, the holdup has been the spray in liner, a production constraint since day 1.
I've been sending an email to my sales guy about once a month for a status update... every time its been no change. Hoping for some good news in the next round of production scheduling!

if you have actually been reading/lurking like you say, you would have already known the answer to your question and not needed to waste bandwith asking it again in a new thread.

My concern wouldnt be the wait time but $46000 for an XLT!

I shall trump that - June 13th. hybrid with drop-in bed liner, and a few other goodies. But if you look at the spreadsheet, lots of people ordered that same week and haven't gotten their vehicles.

You got me beat. So tell me. What new hobbies have you taken up to while away the wait time? Me? I'm lucky. I've gotten to drive these two fun cars more often.

I’m in Canada and there have not been many Mavericks in Canada according to Canadian Maverick Club that I’m also a part of. Hopefully Ford doesn’t forget about us Canucks up here.

Ordered my EB Lariat FX4, 4k tow pkg, co-pilot 360, spray in bed liner and soft fold tonneau ($33,820.) on 6/28 and it was just built on 12/23. Hang in there!

Canada I have had about 8 Maverick sightings and I know for sure 3 of them are same truck. Lol

Are you referring to a trade in vehicle? If so I'm in the same boat. Just got back from the dealer and I basically told him the 14 000 he quoted for my vehicle was losing value. If in 3 months he calls to say my Maverick is available and is only going to give 13000 because mileage went up ....Argh!!! Don't know if I will still go through with the deal
