Exactly! I haven't made them yet, but since I've got the TS rails w/cleats, I'm going to make a couple of supports to sit on top of my cover, so the pipe/conduit isn't resting on the rear window.

What about a bed extender for the hitch.?that’s my plan and had one built from square tubing. Harbor freight has them also

I made one of those awhile ago with a T bar for hauling canoes but with the Maverick I can't take the tailgate down

Once fit a queen sized IKEA bed in a Prius. Was hard to shift drive modes with the rails reaching the front air vents, but it all fit somehow.

Back in the day i put a wooden stype futon in geo metro.

Haven’t gotten my Maverick yet but if the next model has this feature I’ll immediately trade it in. I always wondered why they didn’t do this on the Mav. I’m sure we’ll see it down the road at some point

I just checked with Ford and they told me they make a Super Duty with an 8 foot bed and with the tailgate down its more than 10 ' . There will not be a Maverick with this feature - they wont even make a split rear seat.

Im reminded of the coach Norman Dale in Hoosiers - I would hope you would support who we are. Not, who we are not. hahahaha the Maverick is not competing against the Silverado EV a truck that will be in the 60-70K price range.
