Painted shadow black hood scoop

Just got it back from the shop. Cost $350 to paint it. I haven't installed it on yet ,just sitting on hood for now. Paint matches great. Bought it from Ford for $300 and thats with using some points and 15% discount

Looks great. But am I correct in assuming it's just for aesthetics? It doesn't actually increase airflow to the rad (it's very easy for me to convince myself I know what I'm saying when I don't).

It looks alot like the hood itself. I would get another to graft on to my lawn tractor so the would match.

Man that looks great ny mav.i really want one for mine too.and now I can see how it looks on mine which is the same as yours.shadow black,onyx black interior,black appearance package,5% blacked out windows,change out the chrome lug nuts for black ones plus tons of other mods.but at $399 for the scoop,plus paint and install start getting up there in a hurry like the cab spoiler I had installed.

How does it attach? 3M tape?

Yes, its 3m double sided tape and 3m 540 adhesive.

I'm thinking next I'll do the rear spoiler which I will have painted also and maybe down the road the cab spoiler

My cab spoiler isn't painted due to be a textured finish so it's the standard flat almost matte black in color.still looks good and I don't mind that it's not an exact match in color.bought with the pass points from the purchase of the truck like 42,000 points or $200,so that was basically free but not the $200 install charge my bodyshop hit me with.had to be epoxied on which I wasn't doing.still cool but I love your hood scoop.

Has anybody purchased and installed the mabett side marker lights as first seen on "freds garage" you tube channel on their mavericks?very cool mod and looks great day or night and works well with the extremely bright lasfit led switchback front turn signal bulbs(4257).the lights were $89.99 on Amazon and my tech charged me $60 for install.have not seen another maverick in south carolina with them yet.really stands out from others.awesome upgrade.
