Paint Color Choice

Ya I got a alto blue 2.0 xlt with lux and fx4 coming.. The sales manager was honest and said I'd be lucky to get it early fall, most likely late fall or pushed to a 23.

Mine is (or eventually will be) a FWD, EB, Lux Pkg and CP360. I'm in for a wait as well. Oh well....I'll stick with it and see what happens.

I ordered a Carbonized Grey Lariat, Lux, 4K, SIBL, Moon, 360, Eco 2.0
Been waiting I know, I know... 6 weeks now. Seems like an eternity.
I found a Velocity Blue, Hybrid, Lariat, Lux, Moon, 4k, SIBL about a hundred miles from me in Ga.
Planning on looking at it on Saturday. I have never wanted a blue vehicle.
Anyone that has gotten the Velocity Blue, whataya think of the color?

I ordered the Carbonized Gray metallic XLT AWD Ecoboost with towing package. I am not a fan of blue vehicles either, or red, but the hot pepper red & velocity blue not bad. Alto Blue looks too black ,& I won't get a black/dark color again, always dirty & hot in summer. Good luck.

I initially went after ordering a Velocity Blue one. After some family voting we decided on the Alto Blue for the order paper. Its kinda a neat color, Ive seen pics but none in real life yet so I'm sure it'll be a surprise whenever I get mine in who knows at what date many months from now. It looks black, greenish, dark blue, metallic depending on what light its in from what Ive seen from the pics.

Anyone that has gotten the Velocity Blue, whataya think of the color?

I looked at a Velocity Blue F-150 back in 2019. It's definitely a "loud" blue, whereas something like Blue Jeans is a darker, more passive blue.

That F-150 checked all the boxes and was a great deal, but even as a function-over-form person, I couldn't bring myself to get a very blue truck.

My favorite late-model Ford color is Abyss Gray, but that was only around for a couple years.

Of all the Maverick colors Velocity Blue is the one I like the least. I think the color is very dated and it makes the Maverick look like something from the 90s.

I really like it. I have previously driven two blue cars, both a baby blue. First was a 1986 Plymouth Reliant, the second was a Chevy Cavalier. This is a lot darker blue. A bluer blue, if you will.

I was leaning heavily to Iconic Silver. I didn't want black or Alto Blue because I really wanted to avoid too dark a color. I work for a utility so driving white would have me repeatedly mistaken for a fleet vehicle. My son really loves blue and he bent me to his will. The red, white, and blue motif when seen from the rear is just a bonus.
