Thanks, I see the 1 and 9 now. Very helpful!! You da man.

Interesting that the numbers are flipped from the diagram on page one of this thread.
Thanks but I am far from the man, this is all Vtech87pr. He's the genius behind all this.

The new question… How does that main wire harness plug come off? Can’t get it off for the life if me and I’d rather not break anything lol
U mean the harness in the wheel itself ? It’s not glued in or strapped down. Just use a hook or pick to gently pull up out of the grooves in the wheel

Thanks for all the replies. I’m working on the pcm now. Which harness do I use, the one closer to the engine? I can’t tell from the photos.
Yes from the pics and what Antonio wrote in his previous posts it’s the one on the right closest to the engine.

Thanks. All wired up and ready for test drive. Did you change anything in forscan except select shift?

I havent done it yet, just waiting on my steering control module for the heated wheel and lane assist. But yes only that setting I believe is needed to be changed. Good luck let us know how it goes.

How hard was the pin install on the harnesses?

For me, it was pretty difficult. They are really delicate, I actually broke one. Glad I had extras.
Did you need a special tool to open the harness or did you just use a pic?

Cool thanks.
I’ll try to do mine this week even though I don’t have the part to enable the heated wheel just yet. Just really want the paddles to work.
If anyone bought the pigtails do they come in a pack or sold individually?

Ok so I finished the wiring, wheel swap, forscan SST equipped change and pin connectors for the paddle shift mod.
So now here's my issue. I can shift down and up but it doesn't hold the gear long. I mean when im on the street or highway and downshift and give it gas it goes to about 4k rpm and then upshifts by itself. I also cannot see what gear I'm in.
Anyone have any thoughts?

I understand the transmissions and engines are different between an eco boost and a hybrid.

Is this mod feasible on a hybrid, perhaps only in sport mode?

I don't think this mod works on the hybrid. You can do it for looks as far as a nice wheel but the shifting most likely won't work.

Anyone have suggestions as to any other changes in forscan other than: select shift transmission to “equipped” to make this wok correctly?
Im going to try checking in the ICM but I think there might be more in the PCM.
I think ive seen something on the forum about activating paddles or something to that effect. I can still see the drop down menu in my head but can't remember where the post was.
Maybe I'm imagining it lol.
