Owners Manual Cover - Ford OEM

Found a couple of posts from 2 or 3 years ago concerning the Maverick Owners Manual that comes with a new truck, and how it doesn't have a wallet/folder for the glovebox, like all cars/trucks used to have. I'm obsessive about stuff like this - pretty much every vehicle I've owned had a manual folder over the past 30 years. I understand not everybody cares, but I like having a place for the manual, paperwork, dealership service cards, etc. in the glovebox. So, I recently bought a sealed OEM Ford 2018 Transit Manual kit on eBay for about $15 -

From what I saw on eBay, pretty much any sealed OEM kit from 2016-2018 (Escape, Focus, Transit, etc.) includes the owners manual wallet/cover as long as it looks similar to this one above. Mine came with a nylon case (with velcro fold) that perfectly fits the Maverick manual. It also came with a little Ford logo microfiber cloth to clean your entertainment screen (and all the manuals and user guides for a 2018 Ford Transit van). Anyway, I thought this was a good organizer for your manual and paperwork to keep in the glovebox, at a reasonable price - so if you're a completist like me, at least know that if you buy one of these online, it will work with your Maverick manual.

Ford was cheap on the 22"-24's (no manual folder) on the 25's now no hard copy manual. Just keep your smartphone in a case! I like the Ford provided case and wanted to have one also. What I did for my '24 was keep the folder case for my 2001 Ranger before it's departure. I was lucky enough to still have the old truck when the Maverick finally arrived. May also (as discussed on here elsewhere), be lucky enough to find them in salvage yards.

When I was at the local pick a part. I should have grabbed a leather Lincoln case for my 2023 manual.

I should have kept the one that came with my 2006 E450 cutaway c class motorhome. Padded nylon (?) case, zippered and embroidered Ford logo. Space for 2 owners manual, ownership and insurance papers and a pen.

2025 you don't need a cover. They no longer give you a manual!
Just a small booklet with warnings to not drink the antifreeze and to not stand in front of the car when you are driving away.
I still can't figure out why sometimes The Screen (aka "Driver Distraction Center") plays the radio, next time a podcast, next time SiriusXM, next time something from my phone's stored music. It just surprises me every time! So sweet!
