o what are you guys think the chances are that I won't get screwed over by the dealer on price? before I head the build order we called around when we could find a dealer that had one on the floor they were upping the price $7,000 over sticker!!! The manager at my dealer said they won't do that! I know better than to believe and take him at his word but what is everybody else who's got in their truck had to deal with would love to hear it! Bring lube. Most Mavericks are well above MSRP. Anything still for sale is definitely over MSRP. If you want MSRP you need to keep calling and pray you find one. It’s unlikely you will, so just wait for August to order a 2023 model.

If you ordered one, you can always go in and ask for a signed price agreement. If they sign it you can rest easy and if they don’t you’ll know that they’re going to be pains in the rear.

I can’t back this up with any hard data, but from what I’ve seen on here, retail orders are usually not paying adjusted dealer markups.

I talked a buddy at work into a maverick and he found one in transit to a Ford dealership a few exits south on the interstate. He was worried about the crazy markups on other makes of small trucks and, the AWD XLT He found was only around 3k-5k over so he jumped on the opportunity after seeing a Tacoma 10k over sticker locally. He got a hell of a deal and managed to pay sticker to drive his new FX4 XLT home. The only thing we could figure was Ford let it be known to most dealerships to give the kibosh to the excessive markup.

I agree although My Dealership was Full of lies until the very end I still paid MSRP minus the $500 Military 24 XLT for $30.500 out the Door . Received in December 31-23 .
