Retired and now Oprah pays me to monitor tv stations across the country to make sure Dr. Phil is on every day.

Did you know she has 2 mansions on Lake Coeur d'Alene in Idaho (at least she did the last time I was there).

Where do I start? I get up with the sun, by the time the tourists start moving I get up to the farm(Twin Falls on Maui). First thing is I load the bus up with produce, then bring it out front and set it all up. After a lil prep I chop coconuts with a nice machete at a rate of 15 seconds each. After that on a busy day I will package and remake 120 popsicles. Then before lunch if everything in the smoothie stand is caught up I get looking for projects that need my attention. Today I chopped down a 80ft tall piece of bamboo, cleaned up the mess and chopped 2 164" sections to replace some fence rails by the farmstand. Other days I may be working on trails, keeping the farmstand running, building things out of recycled junk, pushing jungle back, any number of things to fix repair or maintain. Its a fun job where I get to use my brain a bit and use my Comanche offroad all the time. Some days I rescue people from accidents or rough river conditions, some days Im just busy chopping coconuts all day. But everyday I get to work outdoors and cruise around using a old beat up truck that is full of more tools that most garages.

Information Technology Manager at a Silicon Valley medical device manufacturer. Same company for past 25 years. Was shocked when my Lariat Lux Atlas Blue Hybrid Maverick got scheduled a couple weeks ago. Supposed to get built in a couple weeks.

Going to look you up next time we're out your way if for no other reason than to say hi!

What a professional group Maverick buyers are! Hate to break the curve but I just work in a warehouse.
One thing I've learned over the years is every job is just as important and worthy of respect as any other. Companies thrive when executives realize that too.

It's also interesting how things bring people from all different walks of life together. I own a 1st gen 1999 Porsche Boxster(built year and month my wife and I got married) that I bought for 12k a few years ago. Immediately joined PCA and my first membership event was a drive out to a clubhouse on a lake. You have everything from sub-10k Boxsters to 250-300k 911 Turbo's and GT3's. Sit at random tables and nobody judges anyone else on the price of the car they drive because they are all a Porsche and in that sense equal. I was not expecting that.
