So did you find the main cause of the engine failure? Sorry if I missed it, been a few days since I have checked the forum....

So you used the ranger block ? What year ? What timing chain components?

I think my head gasket blew on the way home and I don't think ford will warranty this engine. I had it out in at 55k miles under warranty. And from what I read it only comes with 1yr/12k miles.. I'm at 97k now so... I need a block to build
