Hey everyone,
I ordered a Maverick in November but have since bought a truck. It is due to arrive at the dealership in the next week or so. Unless the dealership gives me way more than I think they will for my current truck, I’m likely not going to purchase the Maverick. Just wanted you all to know in case someone wants it, I can let you know if I don’t buy it. The link is below.

JJ, The Mav is ordered under your name and DL# so you have first right to buy. The dealer wants you to pass so they can ADM +$10-20k to somone else. You could either resell it or tell the dealer pay you $5k to walk.

Neither of these are really viable anymore, especially on an Ecoboost. The uses market has fallen to where it probably won't be enough profit to resell in most markets. And there's only a couple stories of people getting money to walk and those were typically initiated by dealer not buyer.

Dunno, there's a barebones XL at my local dealer someone apparently walked from, window sticker is $23, they put $31 on it. I saw a similar markup on another walkaway earlier in the week, it's already gone. Someone's still willing to pay these huge markups

Used Mavericks in NE FL are still selling over msrp, but I’m not interested in buying the truck and flipping it. This dealer is Autonation and they don’t charge addendums on these. They do have a dealer fee of around $699 I believe. Just wanted to give peeps notice of a Maverick that will be available for purchase within the next week or two.

I almost got a Maverick from them last July. They weren't adding any ADM to the order and it was a hybrid. The only reason I passed was because I figured mine would be scheduled soon and it was a couple weeks later...and then canceled.

I guess a lot of this just flies over my head. Now we tell the dealer how much to give us so we can refuse to buy the truck they ordered for us !!!

the truck has arrived and going through PDI today. available as of tomorrow.
