Sorry, me bad. I looked at buying from Walmart but my local store doesn't stock anything for the 2025 Mav hybrid.
The OP's order probably did not come from a store.
More than likely, a third party seller who's paying Walmart to use their name and maybe even accept delivery at the store for pickup.🤷‍♂️

I've received over-deliveries, wrong items received etc, from many different vendor over the years, Every time I've reported it, they say "keep it." It's just not worth their time and trouble to do a return.
Most companies expect and budget for a certain small percent of problems with sales, and they book it to "errors and omissions." Karma not an issue.

Don't try to justify being guilty of a crime!

What business are you in?

This is what drives up prices and drives businesses into bankruptcy!
It's Walmart, take them to your local store and tell them you received extras you didn't pay for and wish to give them back!
They will need to get their manager because no one does the right thing anymore these days!
I'm not only showing my age but also the way I was brought in doing the right thing!

If the order was processed and fulfilled by a third party, who pays Walmart to use their name. The store may not accept them.
What you would have to do is find the return address on the shipping label.
Bear in mind sometimes there isn't one. Re-box the remaining five filters and then take them to the P.O., UPS or FedEx and PAY For the return shipping.

When I received an award from Kia for Kia Elite Parts for the year I received a trip to Athens Greece. Sixty managers and their guests were flown to Athens for four days. Including tours, meals, and gifts.
I'm sad to say one manager bragged to me he had received 60 extra air filters and he kept them. I never had respect for him after that! He we are there on Kia's dime and he is bragging about being dishonest!
They were and are terrible in their warehouses on damages, mispicks, shortages, overages, and even parts packaged with the wrong labels on them.
We had to fight to claim them usually, but that was our job!

It's always right to do the right thing though!

Morality brigade is strong today. The reality is that there is a good chance they will tell you to keep them. Had similar happened before with both Walmart and Amazon and was told to keep the stuff as there is a cost to return shipping and return processing that eats up any of those items costs with a 50/50 chance they would go back in stock or sent to a bulk returns auction.

Lucky you! I ordered a single 40" S8 Baja Designs light bar from Extreme Terrain. They sent me a box of 4... That's a $1100 light. I did the right thing and sent 2 of them back.
you should be able to sleep half the night anyway.

Why don't people these do the right thing?
It's getting worse and worse as time goes on in this world!
If it was your business:
1. Would you want to know if an employee made a huge mistake?
2. Would you want the customer to do the right thing and return the extras?
3. Would you thank the customer by offering an one time discount for their honesty? (This happened to me)

And the justification that keeping the extra, equals the shortages you didn't receive? You know you bitch to sellers
when you're short until you get your product or money back!

What goes around comes back to get to get even.
Karma's a bitch!
Why, Sir, can you not be honest about your “location” on your profile, instead of &@!blah blah blah? 🤔

Here's a little pro tip: Order your engine and cabin air filters from Walmart and get free delivery. Apparently this is a common thing at Walmart where the delivery person doesn't pay attention and will accidentally give you an entire case of something instead of on individual item. I paid for one single filter and now have enough to last till 140,00 miles.

You are absolutely correct. Five of my 7 years in the decal industry I dealt with Amazon sales. It wasn't worth the time or effort to take back returns.
$$ You had to pay for the return shipment
$$ You have to pay somebody inspect the returns.
If and that's a big if. The returns were acceptable to be resold.
$$ They had to be repackaged.
$$ Then you had the discount them because they could not be sold as new.
All in all it wasn't worth the time and expense.
That is why a lot of companies tell you to keep the items.
Sad thing is, the customers feel they're getting something over on Amazon.

Are these for the 22-24 models of the 25-26?

I ordered an E-Bike for my wife from Buzz Cycles. The order was through their website. I paid by credit card and the shipment was on its way. The day of arrival there were two very large boxes (wife called me and said there were two big boxes) I thought it was maybe the wheels and tires in a separate box. When I got home I realized that there were 2 whole E-Bikes! At first I thought, SCORE! Then I remembered that Karma is a bitch, so I started the process of trying to return one of the bikes. I had to call them three times. The first time I had to leave a VM. No one responded to that. The second time I called I was transferred to the parts department and they said I called the wrong place and transferred me to the voicemail again. The third time I talked to someone. They said they would get a pick up issued. Couple days later they picked up the unopened bike in a box. I was happy to get rid of the bad karma and went on with my life. BTW I was only charged for 1 bike.

Couple days later I checked my cc statement and saw there was a credit for the E-Bike! Now I had an E-Bike for free (DAMN) I tried to call them and explain what happened and got the voice mail machine again. I left a message and got no response. At this point I gave up. I tried to do the right thing, but they did not respond. I was done with them. I figured they would figure it out eventually.

Two months later I got an email from some boss at Buzz Cycles telling me there was some kind of error, and if I would PLEASE pay for the bike. I responded to them and explained in detail what happened, and I said I would gladly pay for the 1 Bike I ordered.

It is not so simple to return things anymore.

Your post is a good example.👍
It shows Walmart also sells Buzz Cycles. You will never find one in a Walmart store.
Buzz cycles pays Walmart a fee to use the Walmart name etc.
It does not mean that Walmart has anything to do with Buzz Cycles
