Just put in truck order XLT ecoboost engine. Looks like I will get call from local Ford dealer. Any advise if I go there?

should be a simple process - when you get there they just go over your online order and ask if you want to make any changes, you can ask them what priority code you are getting (seems like a lower number means that you might get a quick build date -i.e. a 12 is better than a 19) and see if they can give you a lower number, you can at least ask. Seems like a higher volume dealer may be better than a lower volume one, but there are a lot of variables involved most of which are only known by the dealer and Ford. Anyways then you plunk down your $100 deposit, they should give you your order sheet and the next day you should get an email from Ford verifying they got your order and that they'll keep you apprised of the status of your order as 'next steps' occur.

Welcome to the club. Check out all the threads on the order process, sorry to share, but it will be a wait on your order.

EcoBoost were still delayed last time I checked. I ordered standard engine 10 weeks ago and still no word.

Isnt it the Hybrid engines being delayed, in fact not even available for 2021 model year

there's no 2021 model year Maverick. Hybrid ordering for MY2022 closed already. Order bank for MY2023 Hybrid open again next spring TBD.

check your 'junk/spam' folder. That's where my dealer notification was, I didn't realize it til I sent an EM to them telling them that I did an online order and was awaiting the dealer's reply and set up an appt so I could sign the paperwork. They said uh we've been trying to contact you ....then i looked in my junk folder and there their messages were. If you don't find it there then put in a call to them or drop by and find out what's going on. Don't wait forever, things fall thru the cracks...

Go in person / call if you can. You will want a copy of the order submitted by dealer as well as a buyer’s order that states in detail what you will pay - signed by the dealer. They will need your DL to submit. Call the Maverick Specialist team if you have questions about order - number in link below.

Don’t choose any dealer installed options like bed extender, tonneau, etc. See the constraint thread posted by Long McArthur Ford here in the forum. XLT Lux package only gets you the Drop in Bedliner, no option for Spray-in these days. I posted a thread here of our experience and how to confirm order was submitted correctly. All this info Is in different places so figured folks like me just starting out would find it helpful - will be updating if/when this order progresses. Maverick Order. We had to go through 4 different dealers to get one that did not charge additional fees, had good reviews and was genuinely useful/”good” dealer. Took a few days and we had to get our heads straight on what Ford could actually build - basically for us was losing the Spray in bedliner…which we will likely do on delivery after ripping out the Drop in.
