Hello guys. I'm brand new to the site here as I just placed an order for Maverick XLT Tremor on 1/13/24 at local dealer. I was reading where people have been waiting forever for their trucks but was surprised to get an email today showing VIN number and it being scheduled for production in February. Is this normal timeframe? It hasn't even been a week. I assume it takes some time to get from plant in Mexico to the States as well. I'm just not sure what to expect.

Just luck of the draw as far as your dealer having the allocation slot available and an abundance of production capacity for XLT Tremors in the scheduling mix.

Congrats!

You had a combination of low demand build (there's virtually no Tremors left waiting in the order banks) and a dealer who had unfulfilled allocations.

Feel free to fill out your info in our ordering thread, it helps us calculate what types of trucks Ford is building :)

Very normal for a trim with lower demand and no parts shortages. I placed my XLT order on 1/10 and also got the "Production Scheduled" email today.

Low demand builds usually get built faster. Hopefully, you're lucky and the production estimate holds. Don't be surprised if it changes, though.

Once it's "Built," you may have a delay of anywhere from a week to 6 weeks (or more) between the "Shipped" date and delivery to your dealer for purchase. Mine took over a month from the shipped date. A week on the train and 3+ weeks sitting in the rail yard before a truck picked it up and took it on the last leg of the journey. To me, the built/shipping-to-dealer-to-purchase delay was the most stressful of all of the ordering process.
