Order Question

I was a little concerned since the doc I got is a disclosure that just shows selling price along with assorted fees. No codes or anything... But I got the initial email from Ford showing "order confirmed". So I assume all is good, though I just have less info when I want to check (constantly) to see where I am in the pecking order.

Fact is, you can't track your status until you get a VIN. So you're bo worse off than those of us that got a copy of the DORA with all the numbers on it.

I wonder if I get a build date. I was hoping for spring build date but watch it change to like September or October...

I expected a long wait right from the get-go...I'll only start really get antsy when folks are posting photos with their Mavs they've taken delivery of!

Fact is, I'd be happy to take delivery in the spring. But the uncertainty still drives me crazy and I spend far too much time refreshing this forum page!

Yes I'm antsy about lack of communication and transperancy from Ford. My dealer is getting zero info on the Mav. I showed him this forum yesterday and he was blown away by the info we have gathered here.

It seems Ford is lacking communication with their sales people. My sales guy did tell me that price of used cars took a huge drop and he said their F150s are actually being discounted $3-$5k under invoice. They had quite a few new rigs on the lot. Even with Ford shutting down one of the F150 lines that they never did.

I really want to take delivery of my mav in the spring as I will have quite a bit of money for down payment and it will be good time to sell my car to somebody seeking a commuter.
