"Order Processing" with a date?

I was on Ford chat today taking a long shot to see if there was any news about my order when they said my Maverick was in Order Processing and gave me a "scheduled ETA from 11/7/22 to 11/13/22". Anybody else get a date while in Order Processing? any insights or opinions as to what this means? I thought Order Processing meant the order was just being considered and you received a date when it was scheduled? I will try and contact my dealer on Monday to see what he says. Thanks for any input.

Yeah. I got a variation of that. Same "order processing" status, but for me they told me I had a production week versus a delivery ETA. But they didn't offer up a VIN.

I was like.....wait a second here. If I have a week, don't I have a VIN? And they said "of course, here it is".

I'm guessing you might have a production week sometime in late September or early October. They usually estimate delivery about 4 weeks after production.

Chat with them again and ask specific questions. One should be "please give me my VIN". The other is "what is my production week?"

I believe the chat isn't as knowledgeable as the phone support. I think your scheduled ETA is for a build week, not delivery.

I got this email 2 days ago after assuming I'd get rolled over.

Your vehicle is scheduled to be built the week of September 12, 2022. In your next order status email, we will provide you an estimated delivery window of when your vehicle will arrive at Jim Fugate Ford, Inc.. Yeah, I get the same "in Order Processing" even though I am now scheduled to a build day. Keep checking with Chat to see if your build week moves or you get a build day. Once you get close to your build day, you should be able to access your VIN. I believe you won't see "In Production" until it actually starts down the line.
