Looking to order a Maverick from the factory with the following options:
  • XL 2.0 Ecoboost, AWD
  • Area51 with steel wheels (I still think this is the best looking combo!)
  • 4k tow package
For those of you who have received your vehicle, were there options that you regretted not selecting? Anything that you did option that you did not end up utilizing?
Bedliner, floor mats, other accessories I will probably purchase after.

*edit - XL not XLT as I initially wrote

400w inverter for the outlet in the cab. Its cheap to add from the factory, but very expensive (almost 10x more) to add after the fact if you end up needing it.

MY23 Maverick Ordering is closed. You will need to wait until MY24 order banks open to order from the factory.

Official bulletin: 2023 Maverick order banks closing on 9/20 (Hybrid) and 9/21 (EcoBoost)

The only option that I added was Co-Pilot 360 to My23 XL, Area51, Co-Pilot360. Options which I’ll add are mud flaps, bed mat, tri-fold tonneau cover, bed cubby, floor mats, & tailgate damper.

Sliding rear window. My dealer suggested it, but I didn't think I'd need it. For $150-ish, its a cheap option.

I went with a XLT hybrid with only a trailer hitch added. I wanted to actually get my truck this time around. I do wish I ordered a Lariat with the black appearance package. I think I will miss the upgraded seats.

Thats what I did last year, just to get one. I ordered one this year with all the options I wanted, see if I luck out and actually get built.

I also added the aeroskin bug deflector/hood protector, made a significant difference in keeping the hood/winshield cleaner, I highly recommend it. Its an easy addon after you get your truck.

Wish I added protective film only $360. After market in my area probably $600 +.

I have an EB, XLT w/Lux, FX4, 4K tow, and it is exactly as I wanted. For me, I would not change anything, except that I had to drop the spray in bed liner, and get the plastic one. The plastic one is terrible. All plastic ones are terrible though to me.
