Okay, so we all love our mini-trucks. Name one thing about your love which is disappointing.

i will start, the entertainment head unit
Screen is low quality, it is buggy, no Car Play via bluetooth, its really a cheep peice of junk. It would be great if an aftermarket with the same form factor and can maintain the OEM functionality.

Well the screen is a lil fancy for me and. Would trade it for a cc deck with buttons if I could. But if we have to live with it, why the hell doesn't every car with a screen have a 360 degree camera? I mean if you are gonna put a bright screen Infront of my face that makes it hard to see anything outside of the vehicle in the dark, why would you not offset that GLARING safety issue with a camera system so I can use it to actually see what's out there. This applies to every modern car.

For a Maverick specific thing? The wiper/hood contact is not great.

I'd been running my A/C since I got my Mav about 6 weeks ago. Yesterday noticed I could shut A/C off but leave on Auto Climate Control. I thought Auto would auto-magically turn on/off the A/C and heater as needed to adjust internal temperatures. But alas it doesn't. Not too sure what Auto adjusts as you also have to manually adjust the blower motor by repeatedly pressing the Auto button from low to high. Guess it just works like my thermostat in the house which also requires I manually turn on the A/C or heater but then uses them to keep temp constant. Oh well, if I just noticed it after driving it for 6 weeks, I think I can live well with it.

I don't have mine yet. However I would have loved to have seen a paint to match rear steel bumper (at an up charge of course since it is a budget friendly truck).

If the humidity is high enough it will turn on AC regardless of ambient temperature if you leave it on auto.

One thing? tough to chose. The one thing I do not like is all the black plastic on the exterior. It will start to fade very soon here in So Cal. The Lariat should have come with body-colored painted bumpers at least. There are other things that bother me but I still love this little truck.

Does a tie count as one thing?
I wish they had put a ramp, or protrusion of sorts, to stand the seat belt away from the B pillar. As it is, the belt rides flush with the interior wall of the B pillar making it tough to grab it and, I wish it would remember the last used drive mode.

For real, a whole different "trailer bumper package". It could have had extra underbody bracing and be setup with hitch ball integrated just like days of old. Receivers could be bolted to the bottom of it or in place of the ball for those who don't tow but use a hitch for other things. Of course this package would have required 4k, CP360, maybe lux. Just to get the upcharge to make it worth it for the company. Integrated side steps could be available on XLT and lariat.

The whole thing could improve ruggedness by integrating with the unibody better to minimize those tap the hitch and wrinkle the frame issues.

One thing? Tough call. Didn't come with LED lights all around from the factory.
That is pretty bad considering how little of a cost change it would be

Yeah but what were they going to do with 3 train card of bulbs that other models weren't ordering. That or it was glut in the bulb manufacturers supply chain and they got the bulbs for half the cost of what they would have been normally. If the savings was a dollar per vehicle, that alone might be enough to get ahead of union troubles in the hermasillo plant.

Ah, thanks, Ice! Living in the AZ desert, I'd probably never have had an opportunity to experience that. Good to know it does have functions.

CeraKote worked very well on my Mach E and my Ranger. Nice finish and lasts a long time. You can watch the video to see the results. I have no financial interest in the product or company.
