On-board air mounting location ideas?

A truck compressor could have a separate 1 gal tank. The unit itself is the size of a motor 6x6x8. It would take 30 amps. There must be way to get power from motor gen 1 that charges the hybrid battery.

Definitely for a larger load like that. The pigtails are 20A fused, and a 120v 400W inverter is only good for like 3 1/3A, give or take a little.

My little one will run fine, and stow under the seat, along with my other odds and ends.

Perhaps you could make a hard mount that would bolt down in place of one of your forward D ring tie downs in the bed?

I had actually thought aboud mounting the compressor and tank on a treated deck board and make the electrical connection plug and play. That would allow me to remove it, when I need to use that piece of bed real estate for something else.

I'm also thinking about just adding my second compressor to my existing setup in the F-350 and buying that Viair setup from amazon..

I like the idea of making a removable mount. In my case I think I'll be adding a 12V outlet to the side of my bed storage cubby. I can plug my compressor in there, as well as the battery charger for my power tool batteries.

Should be safe in there as I'm getting a rolling hard tonneau.

The worst part of waiting for my Maverick is all the stuff I'm coming up with to do.

I'm gonna have a pile of accessories before I even get my truck, lol.

As I think about it, a jump pack with an air compressor might be the ticket. I carry one now in my in my Subaru and it has saved me and others innumerable times. To get enough cfm to do much more might not be worth it.

There is possibly but why would you want to as voltage can vary greatly and polarity can be reversed. You need to find power after DC current leaves the DC booster/invertor. Look at the fuses in the 12v fuse blox. Are there any other DC fuse blox with different voltage? I do not know but highly doubt it. Is 30amp 12v not enough? There are empty fuse places on the 12v bloc look at owner manual.
