Thanks! Glad you found a good deal! There was one at my dealer in Austin for $28,000 but it was gone the next day and the one I purchased yesterday was on Echo Park dealer site. It is being sent to Austin from San Antonio. It was about $3000 less than everything else online and only 1K miles. Its coming in around $30,000.
Lots of searching and they do go fast
I am in Austin. What dealer did you use?Yep. Feel the pain. I ordered Oct 1, 2021. Dealer said I would have it "no later than May, 2022". In June I went on a road-trip with the family in or 2007 Ford Focus (was FULLY expecting to do this trip in the Maverick). Transmission died 1200 miles from home. Had to sell to a scrap-yard and get a rental car to make it home. Even though I was #7 on the list from my dealer, never got a VIN (they only had 5 allocations). Put in an order for a MY23 but really don't expect to ever see it.
True that!Good luck with that. No, seriously! Good luck!
Cool. I like the folks at Leif and have a MY23 hybrid on order form there. I first went to Maxwell and literally walked out of that place. Hope to see ya around in the new MavI used a small dealer in East Texas for my MY22 order. For my MY23 order, I actually did use Leif Johnson. I talked to several dealers in this area and some were down-right scummy. At least Leif Johnson was semi-prompt on returning e-mails (unlike some) and placed my order without a lot of hassle.
A big question is if it is a hybrid or an Ecoboost. My truck got totaled today. I planned on keeping the old girl even after getting the maverick so I was really in no hurry.
Now I really do need a vehicle and I really do hope it doesn't take a year to get the maverick in.
I'm trusting you Ford don't let me down and don't make me have to go somewhere else.
Yea exactly. I'm actually kinda at a loss. I really can't waitGood luck with that. No, seriously! Good luck!
I ordered a hybrid. I am seriously considering changing and getting the eco boost or maybe even a ranger. So I can get a bit more power. I was planning on keeping my 20 year old truck for when I needed more truck and as an extra vehicle or even a loaner.A big question is if it is a hybrid or an Ecoboost.
If it is a hybrid then you could easily wait a year and still not get it.
If it is an Ecoboost then I think that there is a good chance that you could get it by next spring.
Of course with either some lucky people will get theirs as early as January so you never know.
If you take a look through this site you’ll see a WHOLE LOT of people who waited a year or more to get their hybrid. My hybrid order was accepted last fall (Oct or Nov I think) and I still don’t have mine.Yea exactly. I'm actually kinda at a loss. I really can't wait

But now I'm not sure.
I think I'm just going to have to buy some old beater unfortunately. Maybe even just order something else. I'm not even sure. I know the maverick has a long wait time but I wonder if the ranger or maybe even the Ridgeline is even better. If you take a look through this site you’ll see a WHOLE LOT of people who waited a year or more to get their hybrid. If you’re going to stick it out you should know that Ford and/or your dealership will not always have answers. I have never received a single email from Ford and no email, call, or text from the dealership unless I initiated it.
I just happened to be bored and signed into my ford.com account a couple days ago and saw that my truck is built but waiting for shipping. Yet I still got no communication from anyone that it had even started production.
If you need a vehicle immediately but really want a Mav you should find whatever you can settle for for a year or longer until your Maverick arrives. Hopefully in the meantime Ford addresses some of the hiccups.
good luck!
only if you want a MID-size truckI think I'm just going to have to buy some old beater unfortunately. Maybe even just order something else. I'm not even sure. I know the maverick has a long wait time but I wonder if the ranger or maybe even the Ridgeline is even better.
Hmmmm, I'm sensing a pattern of you & manual transmissions. It's probably a good thing for you they don't really make them anymore. You can only hold the gas to the floor & sidestep the clutch so many times & then it's all over.Did something terribly wrong to an entry level manual transmission 2019 (MQB!) Jetta one day. No animals or plants were injured.
Wife rewarded with Kona Red Mazda 3 because the pricey Miata has zero room for her purse plus me or girl/boy?friend in the car at all.
Ordered an entry level Mav to replace the 2013 ICE Fusion we got after something terrible happened to my V6 manual trans. Mustang of 2008.
(Have I mentioned the 1998 manual transmission Mazda B2500 yet? Sad.)
Then $1000 water pump, mostly labor to access, strikes the Fusion I'm driving in November 2021. Ouch!
Maverick XL Hybrid email today finally built.
I feel your pain sir.
I would be ok with it. Not as good of gas mileage but better than my old truck. It would be more truck than the maverick but also more capable for when I would need more truck while also not being a full size truck.only if you want a MID-size truck
