So now how does the dyno work if its an AWD?
We had a lot of problems with the ptu overheating and the awd system shutting itself down when trying to dyno it in awd. We ended up disconnecting the rear differential plug so it stays in fwd on the dyno pulls. If I were to dyno it again I would just use a fwd dyno and save myself from the headache. So now how does the dyno work if its an AWD?
I know the awd kicks on once and a while and more when in sport.
Wouldnt that effect the fuel delivery and trans shift points and all around performance you are trying to achieve with a tune being that it’s gonna be put back on awd when plugged back up, More of a load with the awd system engaging. Also dyno numbers would be higher on fwd since its pushing that power to 2 wheels instead of 4.We had a lot of problems with the ptu overheating and the awd system shutting itself down when trying to dyno it in awd. That is what was done to the vehicle to date. I'll update this thread as I keep modding the vehicle. Thanks
Stainless works is 3 inchDo you happen to know if the Stainless works downpipe is 2.25" diameter or 2.50" diameter?!
I mean from factory, the muffler pipe diameter is 2.25"?Stainless works is 3 inch
My oem piping was 2.25 inner diameterI mean from factory, the muffler pipe diameter is 2.25"?
Trans has its own tune. Engine was locked in 4th gear for a 1 to 1 ratio. I went to a shop with a new dyno so the numbers seem to be low since my front wheels were slipping on the rollers. Eventually I will get a dyno at another shop but want to do a couple more upgrades and get it retuned by alan at edge autosport.Wouldnt that effect the fuel delivery and trans shift points and all around performance you are trying to achieve with a tune being that it’s gonna be put back on awd when plugged back up, More of a load with the awd system engaging. Idk I’m not a certified tech just veeeeery curious
PerfectoMy oem piping was 2.25 inner diameter
Is it?!The 24 is 2.5
I am driving a 24 XLT. Not sure if there is a difference or not but I just installed a 2.5 MagnaFlow catback. Is it?!
A lot of info, someone saying 2.25" stock, other saying 2.5" stock...
Take a look at the picture... 2024 Lariat Tremor, I'm saying 2.25" for me
