Why not simply leave the tailgate up? Let the rear tire sit where it will on it. Gonna have to strap it down, but that isn't a bad idea anyway. I have two RadRover 6+ bikes that I am fit in mine ( if it ever gets built). Depending on where their rear tire hits I will either sit the rear tire on top of tailgate or leave it down and put a stretch cargo net behind the rear wheels and strap them across the frame somewhere.

other stuffs go in the backseat. That was the big trade off Ford made only offering a configuration with very short bed and large back seat most people have no use for.
We have 2 kids and replaced the crv with the Maverick. So yeah large backseat is essential. The bed is a fun experiment. Pretty sure most of the conquests Ford made are from people that require a large backseat.

Save the bed space and get a hitch mounted bike carrier like the one in this video.

That's a good alternative although if you plan on pulling a trailer, it's nice to load the bike/s in the bed.

I decided to load my bike with Yakima rack on top of hard tonneau cover so I don't need to take off the front wheel.

Careful there, fella. Words like that activate the “Nobody wants a pickup with a longer bed and no backseat” brigade.
Argggg. I want a SuperCab like my old Ranger. Best of both worlds.

Here is the Ford original idea. The bed is just a few inches shorter to close the tailgate:

Also tried the hitch rack. It won't have enough space to allow me to open the tailgate flat. It also triggers the backup assistance warning which I can disable (but you may not want to permanently).

The third option is use the sucking cup rack. Too bad 2 of the 6 cups can't keep the vacuum. And I can't lock it.

I don't have my Maverick yet to experiment but I plan to try a version of the Ford method if it will fit my touring bikes. I plan to pocket screw a horizontal board to the vertical one shown so the fork mount can be moved closer to the back of the cab and maybe squeeze the bike in with the tailgate up. It may require a block or two under the horizontal board for support.
