A garden tractor. Some kind of short I suspect. The Maverick had heavy smoke damage and some melted plastic. Thankfully the insurance deemed it a total loss since I don’t know if I could have trusted the electronics long term. Very sad to lose it though.
Congrats and I’m glad I saw your post. It prompted me to check on my Azure Gray order also from June and mine is also in production. I lost my 2024 to a garage fire and was so disappointed Cactus Gray was no longer available. I nearly went with Dessert Sand this time.
Update: The insurance company came through and declared my truck a total loss. Considering the pretty much immaculate condition pre fire I was maybe hoping for a little more than the 32K and some change they offered but taxes and fees refunds added in it came about 1K short of my original...
Appears to be an electrical short. An older model but I know the engine area was clean and I blew the clippings off the mower deck and let it cool outside before parking it around 4:00 pm. I was in the garage about 9:30 pm and walked right past it with no smoke or smell. I discovered the fire...
I realize the insurance company will take the least expensive route. I’m mainly looking for other possible not readily visible issues with the truck I should be aware of to make sure they are considered if repaired and to watch out for in the future.
One other question I forgot to ask.
In an...
I had a fire in my garage last week which damaged my beloved 2024 Hybrid Lariat as well as my wife’s Honda CR-V and I lost 6 vintage bicycles.
My insurance company had the Honda towed for assessment and my Maverick sadly goes today. The Honda was closest to the John Deere garden tractor where...
Off my original topic but a quick question since I have 17” dedicated wheels and snow tires for my 2024 FWD. Are the bolt patterns the same on the 2025 as the 2024? I may not need them if I get a 25 with AWD but they wouldn’t hurt.
A garage fire. Some melting of plastic trim including both mirrors and wrinkling of the ppf on the front fenders and hood and heavy smoke film and smell. Still waiting on an insurance assessment. I’m crossing my fingers for a total loss even though I love the truck. It was in perfect condition...
I may have to part with my cactus grey 2024 and unfortunately it looks like space white is the closest option for 2025. I haven’t been able to compare them side by side and would appreciate opinions from others who have been able to compare them. Azure grey would be my next choice. Bummed that...
Sadly my 2024 Cactus Gray Hybrid Lariat was damaged in a garage fire. IDK yet if the insurance will total it or not but I’m wondering if there are differences on some items I might salvage from the 24 that would still fit the 25. Any info on fits for the following.
Mabett mud guards
Mabett front...
Just curious- I have a 24 Lariat hybrid and have never seen that image on my screen. Is this from a 25 model or is there a setting/button I need to hit for it to display?
Well I was never able to get my truck into learning mode so I made another trip to Discount Tire. Their attempt to reprogram failed so the tech said to come back and they would try another brand of sensors. I went back today expecting a wait while they pulled the wheels to replace the sensors...
Yes I realize that but the instructions earlier in this thread say to cycle between Off and Run. With a key Run = On mode and not accessory mode correct? So the push button has accessory and engine running modes but not really an On mode. I tried cycling between Off and accessory (foot off the...
I tried getting the truck into learning mode but didn’t have any success. The instructions seem to be for a keyed ignition but I have a hybrid Lariat with push button start. What is the process with push button start?
Same here. New wheels and snow tires from Discount Tire and they activated the sensors. I hit the 20 mile mark on the way home and got the TPMS system fault message. It reset overnight but the next time I drove it for at least 20 miles the same thing happened. I went back to DT and they checked...
