LOL, you have peaked my curiosity. What options did you get on this Maverick, that you posted that's exactly what you want. I would appreciate the options and why, in case you missed them, or liked them on the other trucks. I think the information maybe very useful to someone thinking of buying one. I know everyone is different and thier needs likes and wants can be conflicting. Just curious what did you buy this time, that's different along with color.
Nothing special, just the Lux package and Ford 360. The color was the big item.

I have 1,700 miles on a 2024 FX4 4k with mixed driving and see displayed mpg of 28.3 with actual being 26.6 while taking it easy.

Hey I wasn't trying to say it was bad. Just read like a great opportunity for someone thinking outside of the box, or differently. Kudos if you were able to pull it off and the dealerships that are price gouging, kinda deserves it. I hope this truck is exactly the way you want. Not for any other reason except life is to short as it is, not to enjoy it.

Have 2023 XLT consistent 31-33 mpg. Noticed a decrease when not in economy mode but only goes down to 30 mpg

I just picked up my new 2024 XLT Ecoboost in Prescott Arizona and I am driving back to California and feel really good about the mileage I am getting. I drove 6 hours to Prescott and purchased the truck from Galpin Ford with no dealer markups. The dealers in California are still adding $10,000 markups which is so ridiculous. Thanks Elizabeth and Micheal for the easy purchase experience.

In 2016 I flew from San Diego to Flagstaff and picked up a GMC Canyon because local dealers were marking those up. But [in CA] when I registered it, the DMV required a weight certificate. Did you have to provide that? Still worth it as the GMC was heavily discounted in AZ but marked up "bigly" here.

i'm going to hazard a guess that EB drivers getting 30+ mpg are in mostly flat areas, use eco mode most or all of the time, and don't occasionally like to feel the turbo boost.

Looking good, theres a few things you could do to get even better milage like use your cruse as much as possible set it for about 2k rpm with my fx4 that's about 70mph. I have gotten 38mpg on long trips. Also check you tire pressure often, when the weather change's so does your tire pressure also some dealers overlook letting air out of tires at PDI and your driving around with 40/45 lbs in your tires. Good luck with your new truck, I love mine its going to be 2 years old in a few months.

The computer says 30.2 on my Ecoboost for the first 3,000 miles. When I check it at the pump, it is averaging 28.2. I wouldn't trust the computer for actual mileage, unless you are checking it for accuracy. I have been using normal mode, but plan to try eco mode for the next 1,000 miles.

Just checked miles per gallon today using eco drive mode over the last week or so. My hand calculation was 30.3 miles per gallon. The dash said 31.3. That is over 2 mpg better than I was getting using normal drive mode. Now the computer reading is 3 percent high versus over 6 percent high for the first 3,000 miles. Needless to say, I am very happy with the truck and the miles per gallon!
