Jim, you wrote "build date 2/7" What was your order date ? - thanks. FWIW I saw the first Mav Hybrid at Folsom Lake Ford in Folsom Yesterday. It was an ordered vehicle and the new owners were inside finalizing paperwork.

I ordered on July 5 (received email same day) build date listed February 7, but talking with my Ford salesman (in Petaluma) it was changed to February 14. I should get back to him to see if it was changed to another date as I understand that these dates have been changing too. My “simple” order is the basic xl with floor mats 360 CP, and dibl. I believe it’s worth the wait.

I received an email (1/29) from Ford. My build date was changed to 2/21 from 2/7.

Newbie just joined up on here. I ordered a Cactus Grey, XLT hybrid with Lux option and moonroof on the last day possible, 11/15/21 from Folsom Ford. No illusions on how long it will take before it’s built and actually taking delivery but I’m betting it’s going to be mid January next year as a 2023 model.

After reading almost 8 months of Maverick information I believe your wait will be worth it. I’ve yet to get mine and it will possibly receive mine by the end of March. I have simple needs and this vehicle answers those wants. Keep a positive outlook.

Hi Jim D, thanks for the welcome! Like I mentioned to the dealership I’m not in a hurry as I have good running cars (Accord coupe & Prius V) that will go for years if maintained. The Maverick appeals to me and wife because it’s a small pickup so much easier to drive and park than the huge trucks and SUVs it seems most folks have around here in the Sacramento and San Joaquin valley region.

One asset of this vehicle...it will fit in my garage. We’re locally plagued with converter theft. As soon as that occurred I immediately cleared my garage to fit both truck and car. This trucklet will fit nicely to replace my Tacoma. Small, short truck = “Shmuck”....have a good day Donodo!

I have no illusions on getting my Maverick any time soon since it’s the hybrid XLT with the Luxury package and moonroof with a November 15, 2021 order date. Anyone care to guess how far into the year before it’s actually delivered?

I saw a Iconic Silver AWD parked at Safeway on The Alameda in Santa Clara here in the South Bay on Sunday night. First sighting in the wild.

I am over in the Willow Glen area of San Jose - I am now seeing two or three Mavs
that must live in the area as I am seeing them every few days...but they are pretty
rare in these parts. Mine will not be in my hands until at least late April.

The only Maverick I’ve seen around here was one at the Folsom Ford dealership last Saturday. It was the base model and a sales rep said that the owner is going to slam it.
So, one thing I found out at the dealership is that my wife is not a fan of any vehicle with a bed on it. I guess when it comes in, I won’t have to worry about sharing it with her.

My mother and I both ordered an XL on 6/29. My mother picked up hers the last week in January. The dealership tried to price it $8,000 over MSRP. I'm still waiting for mine to be built, estimated delivery 4/10. Went into production on 12/16. The dealer said that my mother's was only the 2nd they have gotten so far. I can't wait!
