Current Expectations for Hybrid Order

At the time I ordered on 8/21, the dealer estimated delivery of my hybrid Maverick the 1st week of January. Based on everything learned here thus far, I've adjusted my expectations quite a bit. This is what I'm currently thinking:

12/30/21 - receive scheduling email
2/13/22 - build date identified in email
3/31/22 - arrival at dealer

So nearly 3 months later than originally thought. I hope it's a little faster but trying to be realistic. How much have your expectations changed?

At this rate man I’d be surprised if all hybrid orders are done and fulfilled by summer. Supply chain issues are worsening, material shortages continue to be a problem. I really hope I have the truck by your prediction but I’m not getting my hopes up about it

I agree with you on that. I'm just thinking I'm probably closer to the middle of the pack than the end of the line.

I ordered my hybrid in June understanding that production hadn't started yet.

I expected it to be built in late October. It's now scheduled for late December. I hoped for a November delivery, I'm now hoping for late January.

So, basically, a slip of about two, maybe three months.

That recently happened with some 2021 Mustang orders. Pushed to 2022 models.

My order went in on 7/9. I am hoping for a delivery by 3/31/22. At this point, it is what it is. Willing to wait for this truck with that MPG Rating.

My order was confirmed on June 16. I reserved it on line on June 13 and had to go to the dealer to get it confirmed and submitted. Back then, we thought it was going to be "Fall 21" and I was joking with the sales guy and the computer order expert guy that I would be getting it for Christmas because it would be so late. So, anyway, I still don't have a production date so that's how that's gone so far.

Ordered a First Edition on 6/10, since the First Edition is only available for the 2022 model year I just know I will get it by summer 2022.

I ordered my XL Hybrid June 14 and remember telling my wife I hoped to have it by Thanksgiving, maybe sooner, but also told her there was a chance it might not arrive until the end of the year. Then I said, just to cover my a$$ that it might not arrive until next year.

Well it was built 3 weeks ago, just waiting to ship out to me. I can't really complain, especially with my fellow club members still waiting to get scheduled.

I order mine July 12th, got the confirmation e-mail from Ford and still haven't been scheduled. I pestered my dealer and she was finally going to check if ROVP was applicable for my order as of October but she told me it was submitted and approved. And considering all the others with Hybrid orders from the same time frame which haven't been approved and that they seem to be getting in ecoboost I am not too worried, but still not scheduled from my July order. Based on the scheduled dates and supply issues I am hoping to get scheduled in December or January to be built in January or February so hoping for March. If you haven't been scheduled I think they next set of scheduling will be for January builds which would likely be February deliveries.

I hope you're wrong because that would probably mean mine gets pushed back to May. But I'm willing to wait, too, even if that's the case.
