Production expectations for coming weeks

I have a XLT that entered production on 8/2 and has not moved since then. I have the window sticker and have been tracking on the Ford Vehicle Order Tracking site. The modules have not been populated yet. It has not moved for the past two weeks, I'm assuming as a result of the plant closure that has been discussed on other threads. What should my expectations be going forward as the production gets restarted? I live in Northern CA and am hoping to get delivery prior to a long planned trip starting on 9/24. Is this a reasonable expectation? I will be gone for two weeks and don't want the dealer to sell my truck out from under me if it is delivered while I'm gone. Has anyone worked with their dealer to pay for the truck prior to delivery in order to avoid any shenanigans?

I would let the dealer know a few days before you leave that you'll be out of town but expect to take delivery if it's delivered while you're gone. Send an email so it's in writing. I let my dealer know that we might be gone for 1.5 weeks at the beginning of Sept in case it gets delivered in that time frame and they said no problem.
