Question please: If my truck was unloaded and awaiting car carrier to transport to dealership, is there a way for me to get an idea when it will be delivered? Ford CS gave me an estimate of Oct. 22-28. Is there any other way of pin pointing the delivery date? Thanks!

Do you have a United Road load number? Or does your dealer not use United Road?

Do you have a United Road load number? Or does your dealer not use United Road?
I have no idea. Dealer is not so forth coming with info, has not kept me up to date. I have called Ford CS for all my info. Dealer knows me when I drive in, since I am 6'5" and I am driving my wife's little Buick Encore :)

At least you all can track progress somewhat. My truck supposedly shipped a couple weeks ago but every time I've called the Northfolk Southern hotline with my railcar number is says something about Sept 5th 3pm and California and hasn't ever changed to anything else.

Based on the travel history I think you have the wrong railcar number.

I don’t know about Norfolk southern, but at least while I’ve been tracking the rail car that my maverick is on through Union Pacific when it arrived at its destination the status changed to “actual placement”, which when I looked up that term, means that the rail car was dropped off and is awaiting loading/unloading of cargo

update: nevermind, the status has now been changed to “central car control” which I’m guessing means that the rail car has completed unloading and was sent back to a facility to be put back on another train

Actual Placement is one of the last steps, yes.

Interesting, I'll have to talk to Ford chat tomorrow and see if they gave me the wrong rail number. That's what they originally gave me.

FYI, waiting for a truck to carry it the dealer was the longest wait of 11 days. The other 2 places where 8 days; AZ to East St Louis, IL and then to East Brookfield Massachusetts. Bult Sept 22. Arrived to the dealer on the 21st and will pick it up tomorrow.
