Ford CS giving different Maverick location than Norfolk southern

I have a Maverick in transit via railcar since 10-17 Norfolk Southern is telling me it was dropped off in Shelbyville KY via the railcar # (that is where the trucks pick up vehicles for delivery KY) yesterday 11-6 but Ford CS told me today that the Maverick is still in Madison IL. Is ford's tracking off/delayed that bad or does the Maverick railcars change during delivery on rail?

Frankly I'd trust NS. I'm reasonably confident Ford CS gets their information from NS/United Road once the vehicle is out of their hands.

I have a feeling NS knows where their train is more than Ford does. Just my two pennies.

Not all NS updates make it to the vehicle history report. The most recent line of the visibility report is basically what CS sees.

I tracked my Mav, via NS, a lot. There were many in between cities that are not on the final visibility report I got.

Also, some lines on the report seem reversed to me.
Bottom-line go by NS, or ask dealer (they can see entire visibility report).

Update: my dealer just notified me the Maverick had arrived at Shelbyville KY just as Norfolk southern tracking said days earlier. As stated above Norfolk southern is the more reliable tracking source when it's on their rail.
