Discrepancy between vehicle visibility report and Norfolk Southern tracking.

My xlt eco shipped on 10/8 with an eta of 11/5 to its end destination of chapman NE philly. 5 delays later and my estimate is now 12/25. I finally asked for the vehicle visibility report which says the vehicle arrived rail on Nov 4th at port wilmington. When i call norfolk southern, the train car is currently “unloaded flat rail” somewhere in new york. So….has my truck been sitting in port wilmington the last 5 weeks, or is it still on the train somewhere in new york? visibility report attached.

Norfolk Southern is statusing where the rail car is at. If it did unload your truck some time ago, that rail car number is on to other business and reassigned.

The rail car number is literally the number on the car. It is not unique to a specific load.
