Been tracking my truck since it was shipped on Oct 8th. Spent a couple of days at Gateway railyards and another couple at Conway rail yards. No it's been saying left on flatbed rail car Norpeeks PA scanner since Friday or something similar, hard to understand. The other layovers were arrived at railyard. Does this get updated on weekends? Or maybe it missed a scan and is at another railyard somewhere? Going to NYC (Newark NJ).

I recall, when tracking mine, there were times like that; seemed like it was taking a while to get to next place. Mine seemed to update as soon as it got scanned, whenever that was. I think you just have to be patient; nothing else you can do anyways.

Thanks, just found it interesting how the rail system works. Never could find wherever "Norpeeks" is. Once it gets to Newark waiting for a car transport is where I will loose complete visibility.

Yeah, the names are sometimes hard to figure out. Sometimes they are abbreviations. I was going to goggle maps and zooming in to fine train tracks and following them to try to figure some of them out.

Yeah I have done the too trying to guess the route it will take. Found most of the places but a few could not find.

Mine was shipped on October 8 as well heading to Newark. Probably on the same train. I’ll follow your posts since I have no tracking info. All I can check is that it’s going to Newark through https://new.unitedroadlogistics.com/Oviss/Screens/CustomerTracking

It is Mill Creek.. the NS automated voice can be hard to understand. The ETA is tomorrow at 8PM to the ramp.

The railcar holding my truck has been steadily moving east since being shipped on 4 Oct.

4 Oct - At ramp at Hermosillo
7 Oct - Nogales, AZ
15 Oct - Muncie, KS. Also seems to have switched from UP to NS railroad.
19 Oct - Kansas City. Says received at ramp. Does that mean it was offloaded?
20 Oct - Missouri City scanner (just east of Kansas City)
21 Oct - East Decatur, IL
23 Oct - Eilerts (sic) scanner, OH

I hope it "got off the bus" before heading eastbound but I dunno how to track it once on a truck (or even tell if it is on a truck).

I can't tell if your truck was offloaded, but it appears this railcar is headed to a final destination of Walkertown, NC on 10/25. If it had been entirely offloaded at another stop, I'd have been able to tell. Surely they wouldn't take your truck to NC to truck it to IA. I see no record of any unloading in the history, though.

Thanks for taking a look! Hopefully it was offloaded at KC and is getting trucked to Iowa from there. I think I'll stop following this railcar now.
