Does anyone have more in-depth ability for tracking Norfolk Southern rail cars? I’d like to see what my assigned car has been up to.

2. Press 2.
3. Press 2.
4. Enter the letters on the numeric keypad then press #. As in: TTGX will be 8849
5. Enter the numbers then press #.

As stated several times your dealer has vin view that shows the location of the vehicle near real time. Ask them to see the map.

8849 works. Mine still says that it is in Arizona on July 5th. Can't be correct because my truck was built on July 11th and shipped on the 12th.

Yeah I was looking to see if someone has AccessNS for details. The rail car has been making curious routes.

It had made its way to Wilmington, Delaware where I got an update it went on a flat car.

I don’t know if the truck was off loaded (trying to figure that out still) and the rail car was scanned last night in Altoona, Pennsylvania.

Truck is to be delivered to area around Harrisburg, PA.

I forget which railroad but someone posted that on one tracker TTGX had to be entered as 81814192 (as in T is first letter on the 8 button, G is the first letter on the 4 button and X is the second letter on the 9 button) (gota luv programmers).

That’s for the CSX line. Heck, I even used that since someone said it would still work and it gave me some random state out west with an empty car for a last update in June. My truck wasn’t built then.

That's because that was the last recorded position of that rail car when CSX had possession of it. Probably when CSX released to another railroad

Got an update through some emails. Apparently the rail car is still tracking and heading west. I was unable to see what transpired while it was in Delaware. I had been informed by United Road that it’s pending pickup. Sounds like it’s off the train.

Man oh man, I'm having similar issues now 9 months later. I was told by Ford Chat my vehicle location was shipped from Mexico and arrived Petersburg VA Ramp 2L on April 4th. Today, April 13th I'm being told my vehicle is on a train (BSNF) heading through TX. It's final destination WAS Petersburg.
