Yeah, that will gum up the TPMS.

It works great in my e-bike tires, but I wouldn't put it in my vehicle tires because of the TPMS. Unlike the old "Slime" product, FlatOut remains liquid for up to 10 years, and will seal amazingly large holes. But it will definitely gum up your TPMS.

So it will gum up a gimmick system that isnt really needed and would be largely prevented by the product its self. You would think they would just put that in tires instead of moniter. Anyone with a clue of driving a 2 ton killing machine would atleast glance at their tires once per outing.

I dont know the tire pressure system seems like something I would have thought was cool when I was 16 but now just seems like another part to make hassles. Like when changing tires or swapping wheels or temporarily fixing a flat.

I used to think TPMS was a gimmick till I was driving long distance it had gone off and I was thinking it was due to temperature change of the season as normal. Needless to say I stopped for gas and just happened to evaluate my tires before checking pressures and low and behold I picked up a screw. As gimmicky as it is it saved me a possible future headache far away from home. I was able to plug the hole and continue on my way

Yes you should check your tires regularly but it was great that it worked in that in between moment of checking. Putting sealant in your tires should really be just for emergency that crap makes a mess when it comes time for new tires.

Also probably weighs a ton and would hurt mileage.

I guess for all the low profile folks it makes sense. But I will never drive a low profile tire regularly. I personally am pretty annoyed that you cant get 16s on a Maverick when both the big and little Broncos can. 17" is just too much wheel for a daily driver vehicle with tires under or around 30". I have 31x10.50r16s on my comanche and think the tires are too stiff on it so I have to run em around 25-30 PSI. I will definitely be putting atleast 245/70r17s on my Maverick once the 235s wear out.

Im more of a driver not just a A to B kind of guy. I know what the different parts of my vehicle are doing when Im driving and pay attention to the inputs they give me. All the added safety systems to me are just bandaids for the self driving future cars, of which I will not be a part of because I enjoy wheel time. The lane centering, ACC(i like regular cruise on long drives), tire pressure, auto trans all those things dont really do anything I dont do automatically.

Ohh well I guess 38 is too old school nowadays.

one thing also to consider aside from poor mileage is that the balancing of the tire will be lopsided on where the goop tends to pool inside the tire.
