Same here. Sure it's a new vehicle and has a lot of bang for the buck, but at the end of the day it's just a vehicle. There are a lot more important things to worry about IMHO.

I have no hope of getting a Maverick. I ordered a Lariat with Lux, but removed the bedliner and bed cover. I picked the dealer as they are huge in Atlanta and don't add $$$$. But it looks like they only do big $$ Fords. Found out a couple weeks ago they haven't sold many of them. So, I expect they are not getting any allocations. Which means I'm screwed. The dealer is Jim Ellis Ford. I am calling them out as I wasn't told any of this when I contacted them 3 months before Sept 15th.

Sad that people are subjected to this kind of stuff. Not fully blaming the dealer. Ford owns most of this.

We have been waiting 15 months, we don’t have much hope. Our dealership has been difficult and dishonest. They have changed management and now say they will do the right thing. Little late.

Nope.

Great things are coming, no parts shortages, no labor constraints, Hybrid engines will be produced far in excess of Ford's expectations.

Everyone will get their order built by August and the dealers will honor their commitments. And our current vehicles will not require any repairs before the spanking new Mavericks arrive.

There will be great rejoicing in the land, although some here at MTC will despair in the interim.

I have this on the authority of Crusty, the Chesapeake Blue Crab, who appeared to me in a dream last night. Crusty has never been wrong. You can take it to the bank.

When it comes to the state of the country I'm not optimistic but I stopped at my dealer today and got a build date within a week and a Window Sticker. A little ways to go yet but, there's hope. Harass your dealer (nicely), learn the process and carry on. Ya know, we missed a bunch of recalls.
