After two seasons on my truck 2023 XLT AWD (April to Dec) about 10K miles The Nitto Motivo's 245/45/20 wear on the rears were down to 3/32-4/32's. While the fronts were around 9/32's. I do rotate front to rear each season. The wear is equal across the tire so alignment looks ok. I see they don't sell these tires anymore also. Could the lowering springs increase rear tire wear?. And I wonder why they discontinued this tire. Has anyone else have excessive rear tire wear? and what did you find out?

Interesting how the rears have so much wear when you rotate your tires every 3 months.
Things that make you go "Hmmm."

I’d never buy Nitto’s anyway, But 10k wear down, Sounds like a track tire to me.
Lowered, possibly a factor.
Most likely TP or your right foot.
Seasonal rotation, U sure bout that ?

Lane Assist can cause the rears to wear also lowers mpg.

What? Please explain that. No understando.

Steve
Lane Assist uses the rear brakes to pull the to vehicle back to the center of the lane, by applying braking to one wheel. Cruise control is trying to maintain speed against the braking, so it uses more fuel.

You will need to get rear adjustable toe arms and an alignment. I have been lowered on H&R SS springs for 25,000 miles and roasted my outer tread on my tires because of the stock toe being out of spec.
