Please update on how it goes.
I need both of those recalls done.
I have the exact same truck as you, even the color! I had the backup camera done a couple months back and just had the trailer/tow one done about two weeks ago. I assume it works, have not towed my trailer since having the update. That said, I have not had any previous problems with the camera or with the trailer lights. Everything looks to be good here.

If available in your area, will Ford Mobile Service do these updates in your driveway?
I'm in Idaho and the mobile service did the camera and trailer/tow updates in my driveway. About 15-20 minutes each.

I had it done yesterday with Ford Mobile service. Loaded fine, works well. No problem.

My dealer told me Ford wasn't allowing the fix before June 26th for the Mavericks. If you went before then, stands a good chance it didn't take. Mine was done the other day. It did change my preferences on the dash cluster tho. Took away Trìp 2 and the truck icon showing which wheels the power goes to. Now I've got a MPG average bar I've never seen before 🤷‍♂️ if you don't tow I suppose you don't "need" it. However, I'd get it done next time you're in for service just to get it fixed. They'll keep sending you notifications until you get it done.

I had to select which screens I wanted displayed again. I don't need nor want the "currently playing" on the instrument cluster.

My remote service Tech has on at least two updates has attached 13.1+ volts to jump pins to insure module shedding doesn't occur during updates.

I hope it applies to earlier (22, 23, and 24) model years. When my module failed a few weeks ago, my Ford dealer didn't know anything about it (I guess they can't read the recall notice) and was only prepared to charge me a diagnostic fee. I declined - paying for something that Ford is supposed to know about seemed like a dumb thing to do.

Good idea not paying for it. Seems little suspect that they can't read about it. My dealer knew about it. Funny thing was the same day I had my appointment for the program at the dealership I got the notice in the mail lol
