New wheels. How to change TPMS?

Always wondered, does this automatically relearn them, but without the truck knowing what position the tires are actually in? AKA: Any future pressure readings or warnings would only have a 25% chance of being shown in the correct position (since there are 4 possible combos)?

The system seems to be discerning enough to identify them in their proper location. All of mine were correct.

Yep. Which is why I don't know the answer. I use a knockoff tool from Amazon to train mine manually.

That is interesting that is able to auto learn the correct position for each new sensor, I'm curious as to how it does this. Do you have any insight into this @Discount Tire ?

If its set up like most vehicles, each corner of the vehicle has a individual receiver and thats how it knows…
