Hello everyone. Just became the owner of a 2024 Maverick Lariat with 9000 miles on it. In the past we have had big Ford and Dodge pickups but no longer have the urge to drag a five ton trailer around so we downsized. In addition we wanted a vehicle with driver assist capabilities. Our other ride, a 2012 Highlander, doesn’t have those options.
so far I’m really impressed with the Lariat. The 2.0 liter Ecoboost really scoots. Amazing the improvements that have been made since my 1956 Ford with three on the tree and 272 cubic inches.
Another great asset of the Mav is size. Recently we downsized house wise and a full-sized truck or even a lot of newer mid-sized trucks won’t fit in our garage. The Lariat allows me to get around the front in the garage without turning sideways.
